Applications for these awards are accepted on a continuous basis, and can be submitted at any time.
The Mitacs Globalink Partnership Award offers Canadian graduate students the opportunity to participate in a 16- to 24-week research project with an international industry partner located in any country except the United States.
Successful applicants to the Partnership Award scheme will receive $15,000 in funding to cover the direct costs of research. Funding will be in the form of a research grant to the Canadian university academic supervisor. Note that Mitacs provides half the funds ($7,500) for the award, and the international industry host is expected to provide the other half of the funds.
Any Dalhousie faculty member interested in this opportunity is asked to contact the International Research Facilitator (jennifer.morawiecki@dal.ca) for more information and support in developing an application, and to facilitate the necessary institutional signatures.
