How prepared are your participants and staff members to react safely if exposed to threats in insecure environments? How prepared is your institution to act?
Do your overseas programs have adequate Emergency Action Plans in place? Are your Standards of Practice sound and up-to-date?
A two-day workshop covering practical applications of risk assessment and management, personal and team security, injuries and safety issues. This workshop will cover the skills and resources needed to implement a comprehensive health, safety and security plan which can include the following high priority areas: gender based violence, HIV prevention and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP), pre-travel assessments of individual health risk including mental health, issues related to special populations including LGBT+ and vulnerable groups, and additional up to date topics and issues tailored to your institution’s most critical concerns.
