Students in the faculties of Medicine and Health are encouraged to come out and learn about our global health education opportunities.
Opportunities include:
- Practicum Placements
- Institutes
- Internships (QES)
- Clinical Electives
The global health office has been supporting students who are planning education experiences abroad for more than a decade. From an ethical approach to developing partnerships in clinical electives, placements, research and internships. The global health office works to ease the burden of students and hosts. We have developed strategic partnerships with each partner allowing greater support from Dalhousie University, a better understanding of the students' capacity on the part of the host institutions and an overall easier placement.
These opportunities will require mandatory pre-departure training which can be completed in-person and online after the application process.
For more information please review the 2018-2019 Global Health Education Handbook.
RSVP by Nov. 1 to gho@dal.ca
