The PLANS program team is looking for some new members. We are currently hiring for the positions of Program assistant and Summer program leaders.

Program Assistant
Applications due April 19^th at 11:59pm

Ideal for a student – full time in the summer, part time during the school year, flexible with class schedules. 

The program assistant will work with the program manager to provide operational and administrative assistance to implement programming in support of recruitment and retention of African Nova Scotians in the academic programs of medicine, dentistry, and health. The program assistant will be responsible to perform a variety of administrative, coordination, and logistical services

Summer Program Leaders
Applications due April 21st at 11:59pm

whether you can do one or all of the programs!  Travel will be taken care of, if required.  

PLANS is looking to recruit and hire Summer Program Leaders to support summer programming being offered to youth of African descent in junior high and high school. The programming that will be offered are as follows:

1. PLANS Prep Institute (3 positions available) to be held at Dalhousie, July 2-5, 2019
2. African Nova Scotian Health Sciences Summer Camps (7 positions available) to be held at:
   • Dalhousie, July 7-12, 2019
   • St. FX Univeristy (Antigonish, NS), July 16-19, 2019
   • Cape Breton University (Sydney, NS), July 22-25, 2019
