Dr. Claudia Cote obtained a Bachelor of Science at McGill University prior to earning her Medical Degree, Master of Health Administration, and completing Cardiac Surgery Residency at Dalhousie University. Subsequently, she pursued a Fellowship in Aortic Valve Repair, Ross, and Transcatheter Valve Replacement at L’Hôpital Pitié-Salpêtrière in Paris, France, under the mentorship of Pr. Emmanuel Lansac. She pursued a second Fellowship in Transcatheter Valve Replacement and Aortic Surgery at Centre Hospitalier de l’Université de Montreal mentored by Dr. Jessica Forcillo.
Claudia’s enthusiasm for research, teaching, and advancing our clinical programs, in both transcatheter valve and aortic repair techniques, will prove her a welcome addition to our surgical team! Welcome Dr. Côté!
