Dr. Jhase Sniderman is an orthopaedic surgeon, originally from Toronto, Ontario. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Prince Edward Island where he was an academic all-Canadian athlete. He then went on to complete medical school at the University of Ottawa and his orthopaedic residency at the University of Toronto. He is dual fellowship trained in both Orthopaedic Trauma from the University of Toronto in 2022 and Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction from Boston University in 2023. He completed a Masters of Science in 2022 from the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto. He comes to Nova Scotia after working for 2 years at the Concordia Hip and Knee Institute, a high-volume adult hip and knee reconstruction practice in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He specializes in minimally invasive direct anterior total hip replacement and robotic assisted joint replacement. His research interests include optimizing orthopaedic care for patients living with obesity, wound healing and multi-centre clinical trials.
